Cappadocia is an incredible place but what made it an even better experience was The Stone Mansion. Yes, it features a great swimming pool, great rooms with faboulus Jacuzzies, Formidable food but most importantly the STAFF, the lovely staff at the mansion made my holiday an unforgettable experience Thankyou, thankyou and thankyou for a wonderful time! and see you in the near future :) |

| Thıs hotel ıs artıstıcly desıgned--beautıful bedspreads, pıllows, rugs and wall hangıngs. Every detaıl ıs very thorough--wonderfully appoınted convenıences. Imagıne a jacuzzı ın a an beautıful Greek stone house wıth numerous sıttıng rooms adjacent-- Turkısh rugs and wall hangıngs. A huge swımmıng pool and the vıne covered courtyard makes for a relaxıng vacatıon. The locatıon has vıews of the hılls and town. It ıs a 10 mınute walk to Ürgup center of town. The hotel ıs hıstorıcally old but modern and well equıpped. The servıce ıs extraordınary and frıendly wıth good Turkısh food. |

| 1-3 Mayıs tarihleri arasında ailece kaldık. Çok sevimli, temiz bir otel. Çalışanların müşterilere karşı davranışı çok dostça. İnsanlara müşteri gibi değil misafir gibi davranıyorlar. Sorunların çözümünde bütün çalışanlar hemen yardımcı oluyorlar. Stressiz bir tatil için özellikle tavsiye ederim. |

| Folks, there are plenty of expansive and so called "Botique" Hotel at Urgup while we were looking for accomodation. However this is a very attractive alternative that we are so please to stay.
Stone Mansion opened in August 2008. The owner, Ahmen, and his sons Adem and Henry operate the hotel in a family-run fashion. Most people mis-understand that family-run business as small scale, unprofessional and plain service. Howerver the passion and hospitality of the operators will certainly make you thrilled.
The ambition of the owner is also not small. It is one of the few hotels in Urgup that has a pretty decent size of swimming pool. It has a restaurant and in summer they extend the dining area around the pool to provide a refreshing atmosphere for dining.There are still renovation work in progress but slow, which is good because it minimise the impact to the guests while maximising the facilities sooner in the future. Also every room has jagguzi!
We strongly recommend the second floor. When you up the stair, it opens up a small open courtyard that leads you to 2 rooms. One is a standard size double room (which is in european standard BIG). The other room has 2 HUGE double rooms and a big lounge shared by these rooms. It comes to me that it is a wonder floor for family, or a few couples travelling together. We particularly enjoy working in the lounge in the morning, where a full height glazing door with plenty of sunshine filling up the lounge gives you a wonderful and refreshing start and complete the work before we head down the afternoon tour! Yes - we are 24/7/365 working animals but still deserve some holiday while working - so called working holidaier.
Anyway, we were so glad to stay at Stone Mansion with the service and hospitality offered in such a reasonable rate! |
